‘Ok. Let’s have a cup of tea,’ said Harey, filling the kettle with water.

He then plugged in the kettle with wet hands and suddenly got another shock.

‘Yeow!’ he squealed.

‘Another nasty shock! That’s the third one this morning.’

‘Water and electricity don’t mix. You should have wiped your hands dry before

plugging in the kettle,’ warned Scampi. ‘Maybe we’d all be safer playing outside.’

‘Yeah! Great idea!’ said everyone.

In the garden they were playing football when Harey booted the ball with

an almighty kick. They watched with dismay as the ball shot high into the air

and landed over the hedge into the road beyond.
